Rock Creek Retreat is conveniently located to many North Carolina Mountain activities. We are only a 10-15 minute drive to Black Mountain and Chimney Rock and just 30 minutes from Asheville, Biltmore Estate, and Historic Hendersonville, North Carolina. Other things to do include:
Excellent location for fly fishing: Many guest have told us that the stretch of river that runs through the property is some of the best fly fishing in the area. In addition, we are right next door to the High Plateau Outfitters Broad River location.
Tour local attractions: Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherokee, Chimney Rock Park, Folk Arts Center, Grandfather Mountain, Lake Lure Tours, Mount Mitchell, Lake Tomahawk activities.
